There’s one thing that nobody can seem to find enough of: time. That is especially true if you are a business owner or a Marketing Director. That’s why we want to share with you one of our all-time favorite words. That word is automation.
Marketing automation is music to any marketer’s ears. It makes us more efficient and allows us to complete tasks without lifting a finger. It almost seems like magic sometimes!
We’ve been using marketing automation for quite some time, so we’ve compiled a group of some of our favorite automation tools.
Zapier
We wouldn’t be surprised if Zapier turned out to be your favorite tool overall. It integrates with so many different platforms and automates so many different tasks. With Zapier, you set up different “triggers.” When the trigger occurs, Zapier completes an action that you assign.
Let’s say you’re running a lead generation campaign on Facebook. Now you need to import all of those contacts into MailChimp or Constant Contact and send them a welcome email. Zap it!
Set a trigger for when your lead ad form is submitted and set the action to upload the contact into your email service provider. You could then set a trigger for when a contact is added, the action is that they receive a welcome email.
No more downloading lists from Facebook, importing them into your email service provider, and then sending a welcome email. It’s all automated with Zapier.
This is just one example. Explore all of Zapiers integrations, triggers, and actions to find other ways you can automate your marketing strategy.
ManyChat
Some might disagree, but customer service is part of your overall marketing strategy. Poor customer service loses customers and deters potential new ones. Great customer service retains customers and attracts new ones.
If you’re anything like us, you probably have a lot of the same conversations with a lot of different customers. Those conversations can take a lot of time, especially with all of the different avenues customers can use to contact you.
Imagine if you could automate those repetitive conversations you are having on Facebook, Instagram, and SMS. That’s where ManyChat comes in.
You can build an effective Chatbot in minutes with their templates and easy-to-use interface. This will allow you to spend less time repeating the same answers to all of your customers.
MailChimp Automation
If you have an intricate email marketing strategy, you know how time consuming building out emails, organizing contact lists, and scheduling can be. Do yourself a favor and try MailChimp’s automation tools.
MailChimp’s journeys allow you to automatically send emails to customers who visit your site, abandon their cart, or subscribe to your email list, and more. Make sure MailChimp is correctly connected to your website to take full advantage of journeys.
MailChimp also offers journey templates you can use or get inspiration from. Just don’t forget to update these automated emails periodically so that they don’t feel outdated or display incorrect information.
These are just a few of our favorites. Look into other marketing automation tools that might benefit you and your company.
Once you figure out how to work these tools into your strategy, you’ll be wondering why you didn’t start using them sooner. They truly are life savers for marketers! Don’t worry, you can thank us later. We’ll be here waiting!
