Meet Kerik
In 2011, Kerik stumbled across a job helping to design mobile apps. That was when Kerik picked up illustrating and graphic design and it was love at first sight…er…app? Either way, it’s a lot of love.
Kerik, who originally hails from Denver, Colorado, resides with his girlfriend and their four animals: a dog named Milo and three cats named Oliver, Khaleesi (named before her character arc was complete, so calm down), and Luci. One more dog and it will officially be raining cats and dogs, but in a good way. While he’ll always call the Rocky Mountains home, Kerik and crew are excited for their next chapter in Vancouver, WA.
In his formative years (and, let’s be honest, less formative years) Kerik loved video games and remembers bonding with his father over their love of The Legend of Zelda because Link is LEGIT.
He also grew up with a love for creating and producing music and even released music with a small independent record label. If you ask him, he’ll beatbox for you. (Not really. Well, he might, but we can’t make any promises about the quality. We’re gonna hope for the best.)
Kerik moved from graphic design and illustration to the greater marketing realm when he started a business called “2 Marketing Guys” where he worked on everything from social media marketing to videography.
When talking about working with the Limelight team, Kerik is excited by the freedom he has to work with different brands and styles: “It gives me a chance to really have more fun designing, and it also allows me to learn and explore different projects that I haven’t done before.” If he’s Team Limelight, we’re Team Kerik.
